Free to Write

We all have stories to tell. Stories about firsts – first kiss, first apartment, first child. Stories about milestones and experiences – like marriage, graduation or getting a dream job.

Stories about successes and failures, lessons learned and challenges overcome. Writing down these stories allows us not only to record them for our families but also to gain perspective and greater understanding of our experiences.

We are all Free to Write our life stories. No writing training or natural ability is required. Come do so at a six-week writing workshop led by Sheila Allee, author and teacher.

Sheila has written two books, the latest a memoir called My Father’s Eyes. She is a firm believer in the power and benefits of writing personal stories.
